I have a question about my new TI-83 PLUS calculator?

Q: I just got a new TI-83 plus calculator and it doesnt have any applications. How do i transfer an application from 1 calculator to another? I know i need that cable and i have it but what do i do from there?????

A: either plug the cable into the other calucator or into the computer then hit the 2nd button to get link select recieve
